What is Frontiers?

Frontiers is a bullet hell game with some puzzle aspects sprinkled in. Inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Ultrakill, and Undertale, Frontiers follows the story of Derick Wakefield, a prospector determined to get rich quick in the timeline-altered Klondike Gold Rush. Fighting against his cause are the time traveling Needle and Professor Whardsworth, a pair of friends commissioned to destroy the planet. Can you save the world before it gets destroyed, or will the world burn in flames under the wrath of your two enemies?

Frontiers is a game currently in an early access state. The game has been in development for nearly four years now. If you wish to learn more about the game, you can ask me in my discord.

What can I run Frontiers on?

At the moment, Frontiers is only supported by Windows OS.

IMPORTANT! As a nearly solo dev, it is hard to get information on the minimum specs required to run the game! For reference, I run a computer with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor, GTX 1660 Super and 16 GB RAM. If any player with worse specs than me would like to report how the game runs on their computer, join the discord to contact me.

Supported input devices?

Frontiers supports keyboard and mouse bindings, as well as gamepad controls. However, gamepad controls are currently not recommended, and are in development.
